I haven't seen this movie.Can anybody tell me how Adrien Brody did in the film? Was he good?

Yeah, they did use her name to carry/advertise the movie (she was also an executive producer). I hate that. I didn't know Ced was in it, saw one glimpse of Gabrille in trailer.I do think that Columbus Short did an outstanding job, I hardly recognized him. I think he should and will get plenty awards. And always love Mos Def!

It's absurd that this movie disappeared so quickly from most theaters/areas. It's only playing at one theater in my area. I need to see it again before it leaves theaters for good.

Columbus Short (Little Walter) and Jeffrey Wright (Muddy Waters) shine the most, and Short almost steals the whole show. Wright does great as usual, but Little Walter's story is captured well, and it's the most sad. Anyone who's a fan of music needs to see this movie. I hesitated in seeing it, but now wish I had seen it earlier. Unfortunately, it's already been disappearing around me.
